Job Description :

Description:

Will be a hybrid role (Tuesday and Wednesday in office) and a Bachelors Degree is required.

The premium auditor will be responsible for conducting Worker's Compensation insurance audits and quality assurance. Because our company is engaged in several lines of insurance, the premium auditor may also be required to conduct audits for other lines of insurance, such as General Liability and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions). The purpose of an audit is to determine the customer's actual insurance exposure and to process adjustments to ensure appropriate premiums are billed to the customer. To complete the audit, payroll records, tax filings, and other documents are requested from the customers and then analyzed. The premium auditor may then be required to interview the customer over the phone to obtain business operations, employee job duties, and other information that could potentially affect premiums. Once the audit is complete, the premium auditor will process the audit by inputting the audited exposures into our database. If the customer disputes the results of the audit, the premium auditor will address the customer's concerns and ensure that the customer was appropriately billed.
