Overview:
The role of Revenue Auditor collects, reviews, analyzes, investigates, troubleshoots, and remedies various revenue and payout data reports and follows up on discrepancies for maximizing revenue results.
Responsibilities:
- Completes daily audit tasks in order for daily revenue figures to be released to Executive Management.
- Performs and assists in the completion of approximately twenty daily audits following established SICS guidelines and procedures, which involve the collection and review of reports and supporting documentation.
- Maintains current status of all slot machines within slot management system, updating movement, conversions, and retirements.
- Responsible for daily readings and recordkeeping of slot progressive liabilities.
- Ensures applicable gaming winnings have a completed tax form.
- Recommends improvements to various audited transactions that would lower risk and increase operational efficiency.
- Produces prompt, concise, and accurate reports of all discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies with recommendations for resolution; utilizes historical data for comparison, as needed.
- Maintains effective working relationships with departments throughout the organization in order to review and resolve audit discrepancies.
- Assists in the training of new audit Team Members.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- One year experience in an auditing role.
- Ability to communicate audit results effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and internet research skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables) is preferred.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Native American hiring preference applies.
