Auto Body Technician - 3rd Shift - Crenlo : Job Details

REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra

* Able to communicate effectively

* Ability to frequently bend and stoop

* Must be able to stand for extended period of time and exert moderate to heavy physical effort with a minimum lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds

* Must be willing to travel as needed via most efficient means

* Must be physically able to access all areas of the plant and grounds

* Must be available for work on any shift or shift rotation or work schedule as needed by the company

* Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality

* Have basic workbench and computer skills.

* Minimal amount of electrical knowledge

* Meter usage and ability to complete basic measurements

* Basic math skills

Education/Training Required:

* Minimum of a High School diploma or GED

* 1 year of plant experience

* May require CPR and first aid training

* Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training
