Auto Mechanic - Oswego NY - Adecco : Job Details

AUTO MECHANIC WANTED!!! We are seeking to fill a mechanic position within our growing team! If you're an experienced Mid-Level Auto Mechanic (Class B) looking to advance your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Join us in maintaining vehicles at our shop in Oswego. Location: Oswego Shift: 1st Shift, Guaranteed 40+ hours per week Salary: $25 to $38+ per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, including PMs, quick lubes, and basic repairs.
• Inspect and repair vehicle parts and systems. Document repairs and communicate with the Service Manager.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Troubleshoot complex vehicle systems and components.
• Provide technical support to other team members. Stay current on repair procedures using manuals and service bulletins.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Auto Mechanic in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Competencies:

• Diagnose and repair common vehicle issues (brakes, suspension, electrical, engine problems).
• Use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting. Read and interpret repair manuals.
• Perform intermediate repairs. Work independently on PM's preventative maintenance (oil changes, fluid flushes, tune-ups).
