The City of New York – DoITT is seeking an Automation AI Security Engineer to support the MyCity Portal development project. This role focuses on securing AI-powered cybersecurity solutions, testing frameworks, and enhancing threat detection capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, AI security automation, and Python development while working with cloud-based solutions and REST APIs.

• Design & implement AI-powered security solutions to enhance cybersecurity tools.
• Develop security content to support threat management and response teams.
• Deploy machine learning models for threat detection & security orchestration.
• Automate security processes using REST API integrations.
• Perform various types of security testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Write, document, and automate test scripts to validate AI security frameworks.
• Stay updated on evolving cybersecurity threats and AI security trends.
• Collaborate with NYC Cyber Command leadership, incident response teams, and security engineers.
