Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer

Location: Houston

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
• Provide hands-on support for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in automation
• Maintain, monitor, and improve existing automation systems to support 24/7 operations.
• Document programming logic, changes, and improvements

Experience:

• 5+ years as an Automation/Controls Engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
• Proven expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC programming (Logix 5000, Studio 5000).
• Preferred Skills: Experience with SCADA systems, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolving complex automation and controls issues under tight deadlines.
