Automation Engineer - LHH : Job Details

The Sr. Automation Engineer will provide technical expertise in Automation and Electrical Engineering to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Automation Engineering Team.
• Mentor engineers and technicians on manufacturing projects.
• Optimize manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Develop and review electrical, wiring, and safety standards.
• Recommend new equipment or modifications to improve operations.
• Recommend maintenance procedures and spare parts inventory.
• Design and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Program, troubleshoot, and update PLCs, robots, and vision systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Automation or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Expertise in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic issues in manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in programming/troubleshooting PLCs, robots, and vision systems.
• Experience in identifying equipment for in-house manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with Solidworks preferred.
• Familiarity with TQM and Lean Six Sigma principles.
