Job Description :

The Robotic Technician is a vital part of the Automation team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing robotic systems to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. In this role, you will provide essential production support by setting up new SKUs, performing routine maintenance on robotic equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues that arise during production. Key responsibilities include ensuring robots operate efficiently through regular preventive maintenance and swift fault recovery to minimize downtime. You will also be tasked with conducting root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implementing solutions to prevent future failures. This requires a deep understanding of robotic systems, mechanical components, and control systems. A significant aspect of the role is the continuous improvement of work cells where robots are utilized. You will collaborate with other departments to assess and improve production processes, enhancing safety, efficiency, and output quality. Your ability to make adjustments to robotic programs and processes will help in achieving these goals while supporting the overall improvement of automated work cells. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical experience with industrial robots, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be expected to stay updated on new technologies and methodologies to ensure our robotic systems remain at the forefront of industry standards. By providing expert support and driving improvements, the Robotic Technician ensures that robotic operations meet production targets while maintaining high levels of quality and safety, helping the organization stay competitive in a technology-driven market. Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Set up and configure new SKUs for production robots to support product changes or new product introductions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with robotic equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct fault recovery procedures when robotic systems fail, ensuring swift return to operation.
  • Perform root cause analysis to diagnose recurring faults and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Monitor and adjust robotic programs to enhance performance and optimize production processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to integrate new robotic technologies and systems.
  • Inspect robotic systems and work cells for safety and compliance with operational standards.
  • Calibrate and align sensors and robotic components to maintain accuracy and reliability.
