Job Description :

This position is responsible for the recruitment of donors into a variety of automation platforms to optimize utilization of products and achievement of goals. Implements first time donor automation conversion programs that support increased donor frequency and retention. Individual is responsible for the education of donors and staff and field conversion. Participates in ongoing evaluation of donor base and modifies automation recruitment strategies to increase effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

  • Actively recruits donors into a variety of automated platforms. Goes to operations (both centers and mobiles) to actively recruit right type donors to do double red cell donations and platelet profiling as well as researching and converting from existing schedules into right type procedures based on empirical data and current need.
  • Perform collections information entry from our surrounding donor centers, and mobiles.
  • Contacting donors who have been platelet profiled to deliver platelet count results and recruit for future appointments.
  • Identifying double red cell past donors and calling to recruit for future appointments.
  • Provides Donor Recruitment and Collections with support of automation collection activities, such as answering donor questions related to automation eligibility and conversion programs, providing direction and evaluation of customer service initiatives by monitoring areas of concern and making recommendations for additional training.
  • Establishes processes for donor feedback (e.g. follow up calls, thank you calls, satisfaction surveys) to support donor retention.
  • Creates and manages staff/donor promotions in partnership with the marketing department to increase automated collections.
  • Educates on automation to peers as well as newly onboarded staff.
  • Exemplifies CBCs Customer Service Mission and Core Values.

Other Functions:

  • Participates in all mandatory training, staff meetings, weekly meetings with manager, continuing education and cGMP training.
  • Makes recommendations to improve organizational processes.
  • Any related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Education:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

Experience:

2 years of sales, account management, or equivalent experience preferred. Public relations, customer service and volunteer experience helpful.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Licenses / Certifications:

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge:

Proficiency with and knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

Skills & Abilities:

Strong attention to detail in all work processes.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

High level of interpersonal skills to handle a variety of complex issues and situations. Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy in dealing with a variety of staff up to and including executive leadership.

Ability to communicate clearly and with authority, both in writing and verbally, to others in one-on-one or small group settings.

Ability to work in a strong team environment.

Ability to plan and organize job tasks or resources in an efficient manner.

Ability to be responsive and available to management in order to address issues and concerns as they arise.
