(Responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the design, programming, assembly, installation, and support of automation projects throughout Berry Plastics Corporation. Ideal candidate will have strong background in automation and mechanical hands-on experience. This person will be the project technical lead and may be responsible for some project management activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with building and programming on new and rebuilt equipment. Follow mechanical and electrical prints Trouble shoot mechanical and electrical equipment Responsible for adherence to all company, industry, and regulatory procedures Responsible for participating in post project review Maintain and enforce all company safety, environment and Department of Health requirements Qualifications Qualifications: Two year degree in automation, manufacturing, or proven hands on control experience. Proven experience in PLC logic and programming and development of HMIs. Knowledge of Set up and communications of AC drives preferred Good Mechanical aptitude. Ability and desire to learn new technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
