Automation Technician - Tenneco : Job Details

Provide technical analysis to the plant regarding weld integrity. Provide technical support to automated manufacturing process and robots. Provide technical support to Met Lab (or other areas of the plant as required) in the assessment, implementation and maintenance of Quality systems that meet or exceed customer and ISO/ TS 16949 standards. Participate in formal problem solving activities. Ensure product quality through statistical practices to maintain and improve welding (or other manufacturing) process controls. Must be able to work well with all plant disciplines, customers, and suppliers. Individual needs to be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well with others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical analysis to the plant regarding weld integrity. Seek outside vendor support as needed.
