Job Summary:Cedar City Motor Company is seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team at our shop in Cedar City, Utah. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with potential for growth and advancement. As the Body Shop Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers get their vehicles back on the road after an accident or damage. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for repair costs, communicating with customers and insurance companies, writting supplements after vehicles are dissasembled, and overseeing the repair process to ensure quality and timely completion.Compensation & Benefits:As a full-time employee, you will receive a competitive hourly wage commensurate with your skills and experience. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.Responsibilities:- Meet with customers to assess and accurately estimate repair costs for damaged vehicles- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary approvals and facilitate payment- Collaborate with the Body Shop Manager to develop repair plans and schedules- Support the repair team to ensure quality and timely completion of work- Maintain accurate records of repairs and costs for billing and reporting purposes- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to provide a safe working environment- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to improve efficiency and customer satisfactionRequirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Prior experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role in the auto industry- Strong knowledge of vehicle repairs and estimating software (CCC)- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testEEOC Statement:Cedar City Motor Company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
