Assistant Store SupervisorReports To: Store ManagerDirect Reports: NoStatus: Full-TimeSalariedDivision: Store OperationsJob Purpose:We are seeking an Assistant Store Supervisor to work in the parts department of a local contracted Municipal Fleet Operation.The Assistant Store Supervisor will handle parts sales inquiries and help technicians with their parts requests for both light duty and heavy-duty applications, including unique applications such as fire and rescue equipment, watercraft, off road equipment, and support vehicles.Key Job Responsibilities: This job involves operating on a Back Counter in a Fleet environment. This is not a retail operation. Successful candidate must be able to work quickly and be able to fill requests with stocked part and source non-stocking parts from local, remote, and on-line vendors. HD parts experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of auto parts or automotive industry.
- Experience in auto parts sales.
- Ability to manage a large number of open orders and set expected delivery times.
- Ability to work with suppliers to ensure needed parts are correctly identified and ordered.
- Enter orders promptly and accurately.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
- Answer customer's automotive parts questions
- Enter orders promptly and accurately
- Assist customers with quotes
- Available Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Properly greet and thank the customer.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
