- Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of service lane, cleaning as needed.
- Assist the Service Advisors accordingly and learn their role within the organization as potential career path.
- Provides administrative assistance as needed.
- Liaison between the service, sales and parts department.
- Maintain service lane flow in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that cars that are dropped off are immediately relocated.
- Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed.
- Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
- Ensure security of inventory by walking the lot and checking that all vehicles are locked and windows are rolled up.
- Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
- Establish personal goals that are consistent with the dealerships standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
- Partake in follow up calls Tuesday through Friday that streamline service communication and provide insight into those roles in the department.
- Review past day repair orders and set up appointment as needed.
- Attend service meetings and training sessions as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- No experience necessary but must be customer service-oriented.
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred.
- Service or hospitality industry experience a PLUS!
- Automotive experience a PLUS!
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Must be engaging, inquisitive, curious with a over-aggressive/always willing to help attitude.
- Must have drive, passion and confidence to be successful.
