Click Link below to learn more about our group and dealership – VIP Automotive Group Automotive Service Dispatcher Full-Time Opportunity: 5/6 Day Work Week Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Description & Duties: Dispatcher Responsibilities: Schedule shops work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy. Assign work to the correct technician level. Ensure that technicians follow warranty procedures. Understand warranty guidelines. Book and code repair orders. Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly. Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms. Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift. Maintain a record of carryover vehicles. Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc. Internal RO Processing RO Coding Other duties as required. Qualifications: Valid NYS Drivers License 1 year of dealership setting experience. To excel in this role, candidates must perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
