Job Description :

Join our team as an Automotive Service Support Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations in our service department. This role supports the dealership by assisting with moving customer vehicles in the service lane, maintaining merchandising standards, and photographing inventory for online and in-store promotion. You'll work closely with the service and sales teams, contributing to an exceptional customer experience while helping Move Lives Forward. As an Automotive Service Support Specialist at CMA, you will:

  • Safely move customer vehicles through the service lane and parking areas.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked, staged, or returned to customers promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with showroom and service area displays, keeping merchandise organized, clean, and well-stocked.
  • Take high-quality photographs of new and pre-owned vehicles for online listings and promotional materials.
  • Provide a warm, professional greeting to customers.
  • Work with service advisors, technicians, and sales teams to meet daily operational needs.

Requirements Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years customer service, hospitality, and/or retail experience
  • Basic computer proficiency for using customer management software and completing digital paperwork.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Valid Driver's License
Physical Demands
  • Sitting for periods while completing paperwork, or working on a computer.
  • Frequently walking throughout the dealership and lot to show vehicles, check inventory, or meet customers.
  • Standing for extended periods while assisting customers or participating in sales events.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying promotional materials, paperwork, or vehicle accessories, usually under 20-30 pounds.
  • Bending, reaching, or stooping to retrieve items or inspect vehicles (e.g., checking tires or interior).
  • Working outdoors while showing vehicles on the lot, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Work Environment
  • Working in a bright, clean, and professional showroom where vehicles are displayed.
  • Spending time outside showing vehicles, walking the lot with customers, and moving inventory.
  • Schedule can vary based on dealership hours and sales events. Schedule often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for car shopping.
  • Typical dealership sounds include conversations, phones ringing, and occasional vehicle noise from test drives or nearby service departments.
