Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience required.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  • Ability to learn modern technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a clean/acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Heavy Work - Frequently exerting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking constantly. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift items up to 75 pounds.
  • Environment - Requires frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and both inside and outside conditions.
  • Must be able to read, write and have repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, stretch, etc.
  • Must be able to see small objects in low light.
