Automotive title clerk - James Chevrolet : Job Details

Description of the role:The Automotive Title Clerk will be responsible for handling all aspects of vehicle title processing and documentation at James Chevrolet. This includes accurately completing title work, lien releases, and vehicle registration. The role requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of state-specific regulations regarding vehicle titles.Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle title transfers and registrations in compliance with local and state regulations
• Ensure all title paperwork is accurately completed and submitted within the required timeframe
• Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain necessary documentation for title processing
• Perform lien searches and release titles upon loan satisfaction
• Maintain organized records of all title documents
• Communicate with customers to resolve any title-related issues or discrepancies
• Stay up-to-date with changes in title laws and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as an automotive title clerk preferred
• Strong knowledge of state-specific vehicle title laws and regulations
• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in using computer software for title processing
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
