Title: AV Production Coordinator Location: Sterling, VA (5 days a week onsite) Pay: $60000 - $70000 / year
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Production Coordinator to join our team in Sterling, VA. This role requires expertise in audiovisual (AV) troubleshooting, installations, conference setups, video editing, and graphics design. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical proficiency and creative ability to ensure seamless AV operations and content production.
Key Responsibilities: - AV Troubleshooting & Support:
- Diagnose and resolve AV system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain, repair, and test AV equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Installations & Setups:
- Oversee the installation of AV systems, including projectors, screens, sound systems, and other related equipment.
- Coordinate and execute AV setups for conferences, meetings, and events, ensuring high-quality audio and visual experiences.
- Video Production:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional-grade videos.
- Create engaging video content for presentations, training, and promotional purposes.
- Graphics Design:
- Design graphics for presentations, videos, and event materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive branding and visual appeal across all AV content.
- Inventory & Documentation:
- Manage inventory of AV equipment and supplies, ensuring availability for upcoming events and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
Qualifications: - Education:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., AV Technology, Media Production, Communications, or similar).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in AV coordination, troubleshooting, installations, and video production.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with AV systems and equipment, including projectors, soundboards, microphones, and displays.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Strong understanding of AV system integration and configurations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions: - Fully onsite in Sterling, VA.
- Requires occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexible to work extended hours during events or projects as needed.
