Job Description :
Basic FunctionAirvac is the global leader in the Vacuum Technology System industry. The primary function of our Production Technician I is to assemble components such as controllers, valves, NAC controllers, breathers, PVC pipe, flex hose, vacuum toilets, and other related vacuum technology systems products. They also assist with shipping, receiving, and other manufacturing tasks as needed.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Reads and interprets shop packets, work instructions and mechanical drawings.
  • Assembles components following work instructions and quality testing procedures, with the ability to test and inspect components for proper assembly.
  • Accurately cutes, bevels, glues, and assembles PVC components.
  • Operates machinery and hand tools such as sonic welder, table saw, drill, and torque driver.
  • Accurately reports all production and work time.
  • Maintains a general understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and quality objectives.
  • Performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years' experience in production.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, assembly orders, and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to work as a team in a collaborative environment as well as individually.
  • Software proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Sharepoint experience preferred.

  • Able to complete Production Technician I duties & responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Able to assist with troubleshooting product assembly and testing issues.
  • Able to propose an edit to a standard work instruction to Supervisor/Manager.
  • Able to provide high-quality feedback focusing on efficiency, safety, and ergonomics to Supervisor/Manager.
  • Able to mentor and train lower level Production Technicians.
  • Displays a general understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and quality objectives.
  • Holds a forklift certification.
  • No performance issues within the last 6 months.
