More information about ESGW is available at .Position Summary:The Assistant Vice President of Compliance is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compliance programs across ESGW's territory. This role ensures adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and contractual compliance requirements while embedding compliance into every facet of ESGW's operations. By providing strategic oversight, the AVP of Compliance will guide the compliance team, conduct risk assessments, and oversee internal audits to mitigate risks and address deficiencies. The position also plays a key role in fostering a culture of ethical conduct, identifying and addressing compliance gaps, overseeing investigations, and advising senior leadership on regulatory changes and best practices.Job Duties Summary:Compliance Program Development and ManagementDevelop and implement compliance programs, including audit plans and compliance risk assessments. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Oversee the development of compliance policies, procedures, and training programs, and integrate compliance into all business aspects.Regulatory and Industry BenchmarkingStay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices. Conduct regular benchmarking of compliance practices against industry standards and adjust strategies to ensure the program remains effective.Quality AssuranceIdentify areas of risk or non-compliance and recommend policies or procedures to address deficiencies. Oversee internal audits, monitoring compliance, and corrective action plans. Ensure quality checkpoints and performance indicators are in place.Operational Efficiency and IntegrationManage competing priorities and ensure timely completion of tasks and reports. Oversee compliance department operations, including budget and resource management. Work closely with executive leadership and other teams to integrate compliance into all aspects of the business.Ethical Conduct and Resolution of IssuesFoster a culture of ethical behavior and address non-compliance issues. Serve as a resource for ethical and compliance matters and communicate concerns to executive management in a timely manner.Regulatory Monitoring and AdaptationMonitor the regulatory environment and assess the impact of new or changing laws and regulations. Recommend enhanced business strategies and policies to senior management based on regulatory changes.Job Requirements:EducationTraining or education in critical thinking, such as a Bachelor's degree, required. Compliance certifications preferred.Experience3-5 years in Healthcare Administration, auditing (e.g., CPA), legal (e.g., Attorney), or billing/coding. Retail experience is a plus.Proven experience in auditing, reconciling accounts, and understanding internal controls.Familiarity with OIG regulations and experience in designing compliance programs.RequirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Collaborative with cross-functional teams.Understanding of accounting functions.Proficient in researching regulations and excellent communication skills.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with enterprise software systems.Physical RequirementsAbility to move independently or with accommodation within the facility.Willingness to travel as needed.Ability to perform job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.Background CheckApplicant must pass DMV check.All positions require the completion of a background check.
