DescriptionJob Summary:Provides awake night monitoring of clients to ensure the safety and well-being of the clients.Essential FunctionsCompliance:
Ensure that all client environments are in compliance with minimum standardsMaintain client safety guidelinesEnsure that clients are free from neglect and abuseReport allegations of neglect and abuse to TDFPS and/or Executive Director or his designeeMaintain client confidentialityEnsure that all clients are properly supervised and cared for according to BAC PolicyAdhere to the BAC Code of Conduct and Code of EthicsAdhere to employee rules and company policyReport concerns to a supervisorRelay information to supervisor and / or appropriate staffFollow through with supervisor requests / assignmentsEnsure that BAC is a harassment-free work placeTeaching Home:
Ensure that the home is clean and free from unsanitary conditions at all timesAssist in household chores as neededTake initiative to perform dutiesMonitoring of Clients:
Stay alert and awake throughout entire shiftMake rounds to check on areas of the Teaching Home as outlined by supervisorMonitor clients closely at all timesEnsure that clients do not engage in inappropriate or dangerous behaviorWake up the Teaching Parents in the event that the client demonstrates any inappropriate behavior, when there is a potentially dangerous situation, or in the event of an emergencyMaintain an atmosphere in the home that respects the needs of all individualsWork quietly to ensure that there is minimal disruption to the clients sleeping environmentMaintain documentation (i.e. sleep logs, data collection, etc.) as requiredTreatment of Clients:

- Working indoors
