Job Overview:We seek a dynamic and results-driven Partnership Manager to spearhead relationship-building efforts with key AWS teams and external partners. This role is essential in driving revenue growth by aligning strategic initiatives, conducting joint marketing efforts, and optimizing opportunities within the AWS ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and AWS stakeholders to foster deeper relationships, enhance our presence within the AWS network, and identify opportunities to expand business. This role will be in our NYC office 3 days a week.
What you'll do:Strategic Partnership Building: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish, strengthen, and maintain a strategic partnership with AWS and other partners in AMER. Cultivate relationships at all levels within AWS to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Refine and maintain list of strategic AWS accounts nationally
- Broker introductions between Cloudtech's Regional Sales Team and AWS Sales
Joint Business Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and execute joint business plans with AWS and other partners that align with the specific co-sell needs and opportunities in the AMER market. Ensure strategies are tailored to regional nuances.
- Responsible for execution of Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) and attainment of quarterly and annual revenue targets as defined in agreement.
- Lead ACE opportunity registration hygiene with accountability to Partner Originated and Launched opportunity SCA metrics to capture all influenced and resell revenue
Market Positioning and Thought Leadership: Represent Cloudtech as a Cloud Modernization thought leader in the AWS ecosystem within the AMER region. Collaborate with AWS and Cloudtech's marketing and sales teams to position our solutions effectively in the market and capitalize on regional trends.
- Manage lead generation and marketing attribution resulting from MDF funded activities in collaboration with the Marketing team
Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through the AWS partnership by identifying and capitalizing on joint business opportunities. Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure the successful execution of joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Evaluate net new account and opportunity acquisition generated by AWS Originated opportunities with clearly defined qualification criteria
- Manage and provide oversight of AWS MAP program investment budget and deal execution
Enablement and Training: Facilitate training and enablement programs for internal teams at Cloudtech and AWS to enhance their understanding of reciprocal technologies and solutions. Ensure that our teams are well-equipped to effectively engage with AWS and deliver value to our clients in the region.
- Lead all competency and service delivery audit efforts in collaboration with assigned internal PMs, Pre-sales SAs, and Delivery Engineering
- Manage all training and certification initiatives as outlined in the SCA in collaboration with Talent Development
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the AWS partnership in the AMER region. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on the status of the partnership and areas for improvement.
What do we look for in you?- 5+ years of experience in alliance or partner management, preferably within AWS SI or AWS ISV ecosystem.
- Proven track record of developing revenue pipeline around cloud platforms, and deep understanding of how to sell to AWS customers.
- Experience in a quota-carrying role and driving opportunities through strategic alliances.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand how our services integrates with AWS solutions.
- Driven and have met/exceeded indirect sales goals of 1M+ and operated with an average deal size of $50k+
- STRONG network within the AWS ecosystem.
- Previous success in co-marketing initiatives with cloud providers.
- High energy level, focus, and ability to work well in a demanding startup environment.
