Job Description :

A financial firm is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to join their team in New York, NY. Pay: $90/hr L2 clearance needed Hybrid 2x/week - one day must be Tue or Wed Responsibilities: Solution Design: - Design optimum solution for migrating on premise applications to AWS cloud - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions. - Ensure best practices are followed in the design, development, and deployment of applications to AWS. Team Collaboration & Leadership: - Work closely with developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure cohesive and efficient development processes. Stakeholder Engagement: - Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. - Present architectural solutions to stakeholders. Compliance & Security: - Ensure that solutions comply with industry and bank standards and security policies. Continuous Improvement: - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in integration related technologies. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities. Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role. Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of mainstream architectures, and technologies in an AWS environment - more specifically, AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda. VPC and ELB. - Detailed and low-level knowledge, experience, and understanding of security and integration patterns, and protocols including REST API, Messaging, Basic Auth, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC. - Ability to produce actionable technical design documents for critical and complex scoped items collaborating with developers. - Must have broad understanding of enterprise integration and able to influence the right solution approach taking all stakeholder viewpoints. Professional Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. - Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams. Preferred: - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. 24-03830
