Job Description
Candidate will work closely with their team members in the US and India, mobbing and working through features, providing bi-monthly demos to business stakeholders.This candidate will work with the team to design technical solutions following the architect's direction and contribute to technical direction.Mentor more junior software engineers.Ability to demonstrate design thinking.Communicate daily with project manager and team and provide detailed descriptions of progress made on features.Some of the specific technical skills needed for the role include AWS CDK, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, AWS Cloud fundamentals, GitHub fundamentals, and Java Full-stack.These teams currently support applications in AWS, Java, and Cobol Technologies.The PRT Deferred Administration team is currently focusing on moving Mainframe data to the Cloud to be utilized by the new PRT Deferred website. Building out the PRT Deferred Website is the main Strategic Initiative for 2025 and will allow our business to stay competitive in the marketplace.Work Arrangement: Hybrid in the Des Moines office
