JOB Summary: This role willassemble, modify and installelectrical equipment and controls for industrial and commercial units. Reporting to the Electrical Lead, this position helps ensure our high-quality standards are met by monitoring and directing the work of others including apprentices, electrical helpers, and general laborers as required. WHAT JTS OFFERS: Competitive salary Weekly pay Direct Deposit Generous PTO balance offered Comprehensive Health/Dental/Vision Insurance that is affordableWellness Program Career Development10 paid holidays 401k with an employer match Employee Assistance ProgramAnnual boot allowance and a 15% discount at Carhartt A fun, fast-paced culture with company events and professional growth opportunities JOB Responsibilities: Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructionLay out and install electrical raceways including conduit, wire ways, and cable traysInspect and test house utilities and control wiring to identify malfunctions or defects using diagrams and testing equipmentProvide direction and monitoring of work for apprentices, electrical helpers, and general laborers with electrical work dutiesPerform assembly and installation of electrical equipment and house utilities per instructions, specifications, and wiring schematicsOther job-related responsibilities as assignedREQUIREMENTS: Successfulcompletion of National Electrical Code (NEC) certified journeyman apprenticeship or similar apprenticeship program, hours worked/experience, and testing requirements to attain journeyman status as required by the stateor from a state that has reciprocity agreement with Washington, a plus2+years' experienceas an Electrician in industrial or construction settingCurrent Journeymans Electrical license in the state of WashingtonExtensive knowledge of high voltage equipmentKnowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the installation of electrical components of control panels and control housesSKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to read and understand electrical and control schematics to include layout drawings with ability to interpret each and report any discrepancies withinblueprintsand wiring schematicsDemonstrated technical proficiency in the use of equipment including,Voltmeter, MEGGER Tester, Light Meter, and a tape measureAbility to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all organizational levels in a professional, respectful mannerAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment, promoting a culture of safety and complianceAbility to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour dayStrength to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 poundsAbility to work in both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to pass a background check and drug screening JTS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
