The Job
The B2B Channel Manager is responsible for all aspects of development and execution of select B2B sales programs within the organization via a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace and trends.
This role will work with the Ace Merchant team on pertinent category line review analysis as well as B2B vendor selection, serving as the primary point of contact for B2B vendor partners, managing communication, setting expectations, and building strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
Emphasis will also be placed on managing a data analytics associate to provide reporting for Merchant Line Reviews, as well as for B2B analytics.
What you'll do:
- Identify opportunities within the Merchant and B2B planning process to grow business in terms of sales and gross profit for our stores (market share)
- Determine opportunity and create sales playbooks based on Best In Class store sales data and examples for each customer segment and product category
- Lead key B2B projects and sales-driven programs to ensure successful implementation and measurable results with Ace cross functional teams as well as key B2B vendors
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies with retail merchants and vendor partners, ensuring alignment and driving incremental sales growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for B2B vendor partners, building strong relationships, setting expectations, and collaborating on joint business plans.
- Ensure B2B sales initiatives are aligned with company goals, and provide tracking to prove results
- Plan, execute, and optimize in-person B2B sales tour events, collaborating with top B2B sellers and vendors nationwide.
- Manage the B2B Analytics Developer to analyze corporate, store level and industry sales data, providing insights into category trends and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Prepare reports for Merchant Line Reviews and provide actionable insights for sales optimization.
- Provide B2B marketing, National Accounts, and e-commerce strategies analytical support
- Ensure strong communication and alignment with Ace Retailers on product programs, vendor sales execution, sales training, and events.
- Provide exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for product sourcing, pricing, and inquiries.

- 4-6 years of vendor relationship management, negotiation, and buying experience.
- 3-5 years of B2B experience (Ace Hardware experience preferred).
- Strong inventory management background preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Financially proficient with a strong understanding of financial impacts.
- Creative, adaptable, and able to follow through on projects.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and ad-hoc reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Ability to travel 15-25%
