You'll work alongside experienced professionals, tackle real-world challenges, and make a tangible impact.As an Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Design and Draft: Work on site layouts, access layouts, grading, utility routing, storm drainage, and more. Your designs will shape the future!
- Permitting and Documentation: Assist in developing permits and final documents. Your attention to detail will be crucial.
- Construction Administration: Coordinate with field personnel, review contractor drawings, conduct field inspections, and test utility systems. Be the bridge between design and reality!
- Site Evaluations: Perform site evaluations and document existing features and utility systems. Your observations will guide our projects.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimates: Help prepare and evaluate project budgets and cost estimates. Your calculations will keep us on track.
- Design Reports and Plans: Assist in creating design reports and construction plans. Your work will be the blueprint for success.
- Specifications and Permits: Coordinate the preparation of specifications and permit submittals. Your thoroughness will ensure compliance.
- On-Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections as needed. See your designs come to life!
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering or a related field
- Experience in AutoCAD - Civil 3D preferred.
- Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license
