Our Shift Leads are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Lead's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leads lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Shift Lead Responsibilities:

  • Learn all aspects of Chick-fil-A food preparation & maintain our culture and standards for food safety
  • Plan & lead shifts and hold team accountable for food safety & quality standards
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Pace the team to high levels of performance by understanding the importance of speed of service, accuracy and resolution of bottlenecks in kitchen work flow
  • Ensure the restaurant and food prep areas are properly cleaned, organized and safety standards are consistently upheld
  • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with leadership and team members
  • Exhibit a passion for excellence & growth
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to respond to changes and edits to orders quickly & efficiently
  • Mobility to perform kitchen tasks & ability to lift 35+ pounds
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
  • Respectful to other team members, guests, and all restaurant leadership
  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred

Pay: $12 - $14 / hour

Schedule:

  • Weekend availability
  • Holidays

Education: No education required

Work location: On-site
