BAKERY HOST | JOB DESCRIPTION At Magnolia, the Bakery Host is responsible for being a Magnolia ambassador and providing guests with exceptional food service. Hosts connect with guests in genuine and authentic ways while sharing information about products from Silos Baking Co. This position has a variety of tasks such as assisting with product and order processing. The Bakery Host is a critical aspect of the overall guest experience as they are usually the first and last individual a guest interacts with at the Bakery. This position works from Silos Baking Co. in Waco, Texas. It reports to the General Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cash wrap and POS duties in an efficient and timely manner Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS Soft skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills ; high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative; ability to multitask while maintaining a positive guest experience Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Experience: 1+ years of food service or hospitality work experience preferred While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The employee occasionally uses sinks and tools to clean kitchen appliances. The employee is frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slipper y floors, garbage disposals, and cleaning chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
