JOB DESCRIPTION We're looking for a full-time or part- time kitchen assistant who takes pride in helping to create authentic Italian attractive and delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience, can work in a fast-paced kitchen, and have a positive attitude. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Some of your duties may include: Prepare & bake scratch bakery products in a team environment Prepare fresh baked cookies, cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, and more Professionally decorate cakes and pastries, when needed Operate commercial bakery equipment in the preparation and finishing of our products Maintain and sanitize baking utensils, tools, implements, machinery, and work area. Adhere to food safety requirements and standards while preparing and handling products. Provide high quality customer service and consult with customers regarding icing techniques and cake design Assist with other duties as assigned You'll need to be able to: Lift up to 50lbs Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Maintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. Experience decorating cakes and cupcakes and working in a Bakery and/or related training. Schedule: We can offer a flexible schedule to provide work-life balance if the schedule meets the business needs. This position will require weekend work.
