Summary:
As a Bank Teller, you will provide efficient and friendly services to clients, processing various business and banking transactions. Your responsibilities will include handling cash, accepting deposits and withdrawals, and addressing client inquiries.
- Accept checks for cash and deposit, verify cash, endorsements, and issue receipts
- Handle savings deposits and withdrawals after verifying balance and signature
- Redeem US Savings Bonds
- Maintain proper cash levels in drawers and ensure cash security
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Handle cashier's checks and money orders
- Assist with currency orders and shipments
- Respond to client needs and inquiries in a courteous manner
- Perform minor account maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
- Strong math and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to different working environments and collaborate with colleagues
- Maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Good phone voice and ability to interview customers
- Knowledge of bank operations and services offered
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
Computer and Software Skills:
- Proficient in Google Mail, Microsoft Office, and ability to navigate multiple systems
