Spring Bank is currently seeking Bank Tellers to work in our new Red Hook, Brooklyn branch. This is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt (overtime-eligible) role.

• Process a variety of customer-initiated monetary transactions and check-cashing at the window as required ensuring branch service is executed at the highest level while also maintaining accurate records.
• Share/offer customers the Banks products and services in response to customer needs
• Respond to customer questions and concerns (either in person or over the phone) and refer to the appropriate internal resources for resolution.
• Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses.
• Stay up-to-date on new products and services and maintain awareness of current fraud alerts.
• Ensure all functions are completed within stated guidelines

• High School Diploma or Associates' Degree.
• Must have 1+ years of experience as a Bank Teller or as a teller in a check-cashing business.
• Must have exceptional, friendly, and upbeat customer service skills with an outgoing personality.
• Must work toward having a well-rounded understanding of the Bank and the services offered.
• Must be a proactive team-player.
• Excellent basic math skills and strong computer skills.
• Must have the ability to maintain a balanced drawer.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required
• Experience with teller software applications

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Hourly pay rate $22.50
