These areas of the bank include retail, credit, lending, IT, HR, wealth management, treasury/investor relations, marketing, accounting/finance/tax, mortgage and credit card. The goal of the program is to train high potential talent for key areas of the bank. Upon successfully completing the program, trainees are usually placed in a permanent job area based on mutual interest and the needs of the bank
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Works with Executive Sponsor to better understand Simmons' overall goals and to make key contacts within the bank.
- Learns the key functions of each rotation area along with the applicable rules/regulations.
- Works with other associates in the department to become knowledgeable of the procedures to process the documentation handled by the department, including performing the job duties for a period of time.
- Participates in programs to enhance the knowledge and required activities of the position.
- Writes a review of each rotation that includes information learned and suggestions for future trainees and shares this with leader.
- Develops leadership skills.
- Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
