Job Description

A varied role, as Banking and Finance Counsel/ Partner, you will:

• Lead a range of Banking & Finance matters including but not limited to lending, letters of credit, and other transaction materials. Drafting, negotiating, and closing domestic and international financial transactions.
• At least 8 years of previous work in Banking & Finance Transaction matters is essential
• Strong working knowledge of and interest in Uniform Commercial Code and Bankruptcy Code required.
• Prior experience in trade finance and or fund finance is desirable.
• Portable book of business expected.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Banking and Finance Counsel/ Partner will have demonstrable experience:

• JD
• Admitted to practice in New York
• 8 years+ Banking & Finance legal experience - Bankruptcy Code and UCC, lending, letters of credit, and other transaction materials for international and domestic financial transactions
• Mature, team-spirited, and customer-first approach - keen to develop and grow with the firm
• Portable book of business required.
• Candidates must be available to interview in late July/ early August and be entitled to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future)

Competitive package available for the successful Banking and Finance Counsel/ Partner:

• Base salary: c. $280,000 - $300,000 PA (depending on experience)
