We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Operations team to conduct quality review processes for daily operational tasks completed in different areas of the bank. This role will also assist the bank's process improvement and operational efficiency efforts. The goal is to ensure quality results in an efficient and productive manner in adherence with current policy and procedure. Additional responsibility will include creating reporting, metrics, process flows and efficiency metrics. Role involves tracking, communicating and remediating deficiencies with proper departments.

Qualified candidates must be able to work in person in an office located in Chautauqua county.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • Conduct and assist with creating effective review procedures of daily operational tasks related to current policy and procedure.
  • Assist with process improvement efforts.
  • Perform quality review checks based on developed criteria and prior results.
  • Analyze operational processes to drive efficiency and quality output.
  • Identify areas of improvement and report as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and COO to remediate deficiencies.
  • Provide management and board reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years o financial institution experience.
  • 1+ year of quality assurance/quality control experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong decision making, analytical and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of the laws and regulations governing financial institutions.
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a team player disposition.
  • Must act in accordance to the Lake Shore Savings Bank Code of Conduct Policy.
