JOB SUMMARY: The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for banquet room set up and equipment used in set up. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintains equipment and parts of equipment to meet business demands.
  • Maintain and operate A.V. equipment.
  • Work well with sales and clients to set up adequate banquet accommodations. Is actively involved in completion of daily tasks.
  • Acts immediately on guest request to ensure corrections are made to guest specifications.
  • Keeps area clean and maintained. Reports any repair needs immediately.
  • Acts as role model for other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school graduate or GED is required.
  • Must read, write, and speak English.
  • Able to lift and carry fifty pounds minimum. Good customer service, communication, team building, and problem solving skills. Mechanical skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and perform multiple tasks at once.

  • Must foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, organized and safe work environment for guests and employees.
  • Adheres to all uniform and appearance standards.
