Banquet Prep Cook - Historic Hotel Colorado, LLC : Job Details

The Hotel Colorado is hiring for a Full Time Banquet Prep Cook. Applicants do need some training or work experience in cooking professionally. Your pay rate at this position will be $24/hr. depending on your experience level. Some of the great perks of this job are accrued sick time, a free employee meal with each shift and an employee rate at our sister property. A free bus pass is offered after 30 days of employment the type which is based on your home address.

This position is primarily responsible for preparing ingredients and the basics for recipes to facilitate quicker service to customers and for group events.

The essential functions of this job are:

• Prepare ingredients for dishes by slicing and dicing vegetables.
• Make salads and other cold food items.
• Break down, cut or grind meat.
• Weighing and mix ingredients.
• Storing food safely.
• Maintains area cleanliness as dictated by Executive Chef.
