Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBANQUET SALES COORDINATORLatham, NYFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Banquet Sales Coordinator, to join our client in the Latham, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a competitive benefits package.Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to generate new banquet and wedding business
• Prospect for new clients and develop relationships with key decision-makers
• Conduct tours and meetings with prospective clients to present the banquet and wedding facilities and services
• Negotiate and close contracts with clients
• Work with clients to plan their events, including menus, seating arrangements, décor, and audiovisual needs
• Coordinate with other restaurant/banquet departments to ensure that events are executed smoothly and that clients are satisfied
• Track and report on banquet and wedding sales performance
• Evening and weekend work required when needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in banquet or wedding sales
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banquet sales software

Salary

• $70-100k plus (based on experience)
