Banquet Server - FT - AC Hotels Greenville Downtown : Job Details

The beautiful AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown is seeking energetic Banquet Servers for our busy banquets and events. The purpose of a Banquet Server is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for food and beverage service. • Ensure guest satisfaction through meeting room cleanliness and attention to guests' needs.
• Ensure that a high level of sanitation and cleanliness is maintained before, during and after each shift.
• Be able to read a Banquet Event Order, answer guest questions, and be willing to go above and beyond to please our guests.
• Know the menu for each function and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation methods for each item served.
• Assist managers and captains in setting up and breaking down functions while enforcing all policies and procedures.
• Extend courtesy and goodwill to everyone at all times, making the guest event memorable.
