Position Purpose: To ensure courteous and efficient services to guests while maintaining all food preparation and service standards in a safe, accident-free environment.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Sets up and removed tables and chairs in banquet rooms as assigned, along with other equipment needed by the client.
- Sets up and removes buffet tables and other food serving tables to include portable bars as required.
- Responsible to follow all alcohol sale and distribution policies, ordinances, and regulations
- Provide courteous and efficient guest services.
- Verify legal age (21) of guests ordering alcohol.
- Serve beer, wines, and other drinks as needed.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
- Monitor the behaviors and actions of guests consuming alcohol and observe for signs of intoxication.
- Comply with departmental policies and procedures when restricting alcohol sales to guests.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
- Sets up and assists Food & Beverage team regarding set up of chafers and buffets.
- Assures that at the end of shift, all carts are free of trash and linens.
- Ensures all equipment is put back in its appropriate place.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain Buffalo Run Casino & Resort's standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily work assignments.
RequirementsEducation/Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Requires Food Handler's Permit.
- Requires Oklahoma Liquor License (if bartending)
Licensing:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Work Requirements: Shift: On Call - Variable Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
