Bar Back

The main responsibility of a Bar back is to aid the bartender with all bar maintenance tasks, including clean up and restocking of glassware and supplies.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that all proper sanitation practices are enforced when taking care of the bar

* Dispose of trash and bottles according to restaurant procedure

* Bring filled bus bins from behind the bar to the dishwashing area

* Prepare all fruit/garnish for all cocktails on menu

* Restock all inventory: beer, liquor, wine, juices, glassware, etc.

* Deliver cocktails to guest in a timely fashion (if needed)

Skills

* Strong verbal communication skills

* Avid multitasker to adapt to a fast paced, high volume restaurant setting

Working Conditions

* Be able to stand, twist, kneel and move around for the entirety of a scheduled shift

* Be able to lift up to 30lbs

* Be comfortable frequently using hands and wrists

Education/Experience

* High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)

* Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required
