BAR MANAGER Rays at Killer Creek is looking for a bar manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, and works well with others. He or she also believes in quality, consistency, and working in a clean and organized environment. Essential Functions:
- Greets bar guests and make guests waiting for tables feel welcomed and acknowledged
- Makes cocktails, beer, and wine for both bar and dining room guests
- Ensures proper measurements of cocktail ingredients
- Maintains correct pars of beers, wines, juices, and waters in bar refrigerators
- Follow and complete all checklists before, during, and after service
- Perform cash drawer checkouts
- Maintain expertise on food menu, wine menu, cocktail menu and attend continued education classes when provided
- Be an expert on our brand and offerings
Managerial Functions:
- Scheduling all bar staff
- Maintains an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan of staffing needs. Prepares schedules and ensures that areas of responsibility are staffed properly for all shifts
- Cleanliness & organization of beer cooler, bar, and all other areas in use
- Hiring & training of all bar staff; monitors training obligations for servers on bar opportunities
- Trains and develops hourly team members through ongoing feedback and coaching and establishment of performance expectations.
- Testing bartenders on their accuracy of pours weekly to ensure proper cost levels
- Inventory weekly efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner
- Demonstrates responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing beverage products, an inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products, and proper par levels to minimize waste and optimize total beverage cost
- Ensures that the restaurant staff are set-up for an outstanding shift
- Elevates staff morale and sets an example of proper business conduct
- Works closely with Director of Beverage on all out-of-stock items, price changes, new product, menu roll-outs, equipment needs, inventory, and operations.

Requirements
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, quick to learn and able to multi-task
- Previous bartending experience required in high volume environment
- Beer, wine and spirits knowledge is a must
- Full Time Availability
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Overtime offered based on staffing needs
- Must be 21
- Must have reliable transportation, be responsible, and above all dependable
- Be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
- Willing to learn safe food handling practices and workplace safety procedures
