The Marysville location is Winans' newest and will open in February of 2025.Job Title:BaristaJob Summary:We are seeking warm and hospitable Baristas to join our team at Winans Coffee and Chocolate. As a Barista, you will be the heart and soul of our coffee shop, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and valued. You will report to the Lead Baristas and Store Manager and work in daily operations, maintain high standards of coffee preparation, and foster a positive, community-oriented environment.Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, maintaining consistency and excellence in every cup.
• Responsible for serving customers and shop tasks assigned throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Promote and educate customers about our coffee and chocolate products.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista NOT required.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for creating a welcoming environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and balance shop tasks with high and low-volume sales periods throughout the day.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability and Willingness to adhere to brand dress code and grooming standards.
• Both Winans and the building we are in are strictly non-smoking, employees must be willing and able to refrain from tobacco and vaping use at all times while on-site.
