Overview: The job of Title I Teacher Liaison is done for the purpose of ensuring the appropriate and effective exchange of information and the smooth transition of students from one environment to another between the Bartholomew County Youth Services Center and the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. Duties included:

• Initiate Contact with students' home school
• Arrange for pick-up and drop-off of students' homework
• Work with students that are placed at the Center prior to release to develop and write a transition plan that will assist probation, the Court, and students regarding re-entry into the school
• Coordinate achievement with testing according to standards including scheduling and administering tests and record keeping
• Serve as a classroom substitute when Center educators are absent
• Attend Center team meetings every Tuesday afternoon as well as monthly meetings
• Arrange special education meetings, as needed, with Center educators and personnel from the students' home school
• Work with school counselors, deans, and teachers from the students' home school
• Other duties as assigned by the Director
