Developing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand the scope of work and project requirements.3. Evaluating and adjusting estimates to ensure they align with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.4. Participating in the tender process, including the preparation of detailed proposals and bid packages.5. Providing strategic recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and project performance.6. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.7. Implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential project cost overruns.8. Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure the best deals.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the BAS/Controls industry.2. Previous experience within mechanical contracting.3. Strong computer skills and strong communication abilities .4. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.5. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.6. A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.7. The ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.8.
