BAS Controls Technician - Star Service of New Orleans : Job Details

Star Service of New Orleans is looking to add aBAS Controls Technician to our growing team! Star is the leading HVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast and offers full-service installation, maintenance, and repair of Building Automation Systems. Primary Responsibilities:

• Design installation, programming, and commissioning of control systems
• Troubleshooting control systems
• Makes recommendations to customers on products and services
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers
• Operate in a highly ethical manner
• Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience designing, installing, programming, and commissioning Building Automation Systems
• familiarity with one or more of the following Building Automation Systems: Johnson Controls (preferred), Schneider Electric, Siemens, Trane, or Daikin
• Familiarity with BACnet, LonWorks, and/or Modbus communication protocols
• A team player mentality and strong ability to problem-solve
