Battery System Engineer - Teoresi Group : Job Details

We are looking for a:

Battery System Engineer

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's Degree or Phd in Electrical Engineering 3 or more years of experience designing and testing HV battery systems and/or components.

Key requirements for the position:

• Proven experience in electrical schematic and wiring design and engineering;
• Proven experience on electrical integration activities of avionics and on-board systems on vehicle;
• Proven experience in design creation for sophisticated HV battery system technologies
• Support modeling and validation of advanced high voltage battery systems and components.
• Collaborate with battery system and component suppliers on key projects.
• Support internal customers, including propulsion systems team and vehicle architecture.
• Background in battery module/system design, battery structural, electrical and thermal system development/validation.
• Experience with HV battery durability and crash safety CAE or testing.

Profile Completes:

• Strong project leadership, consulting and hands-on abilities
• Experience in automotive technology, especially in electrified vehicles
• Excellent teamwork, communication and multi-tasking skills
• Self-motivation

Location: Detroit Metropolitan area
