Beach Attendant - Village of Lake in the Hills Illinois : Job Details

This position checks identification of residents and guests to beaches and ensures beaches are clean, safe, and secure for residents and guests. This position reports to the Director of Parks and Recreation or designee. Essential Functions Maintains a clean environment. Rake beaches, picks up trash and throws away garbage as needed. Greets each visitor and checks identification to ensure residency before entry to beaches. Interprets and enforces all Village rules, regulations and policies as pertaining to facility use; explains rules and regulation to patrons and answers facility policy questions. Responds to customer complaints or questions and provides assistances as needed. Communicates and escalate issues, as appropriate. Monitors weather conditions and advise patrons of inclement weather Keeps and maintains all records and documentation of work performed.
