Beauty Writer, Marie Claire - Future Publishing Limited : Job Details

Marie Claire is looking for a Beauty Writer. In this role, reporting to the Beauty Director, you'll primarily write content for our Beauty vertical, including health and wellness updates, with an emphasis on driving commerce and expanding our readership.

The Beauty Writer will Write and update 3+ stories each day, ensuring a mix of quick takes, news posts, SEO updates, buying guides, reported stories, and packages. You will contribute other stories as needed, including sales, reviews, and features for our bi-annual print issues. You will also support Beauty, Commerce, and Social teams as needed. You will represent Marie Claire at outward-facing events.

• 2+ years writing experience in beauty or commerce.
• You have strong writing, reporting, and brainstorming skills.
• You can deliver clean, concise, and factually correct copy on deadline.
• You have an endless appetite for all things beauty and culture and a discerning eye for internet zeitgeist and trends.
• You have enthusiasm for working alongside your team to meet goals.
• You have a baseline knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
• You have excellent communication and self-motivation skills, in addition to the ability to meet tight daily and weekly deadlines.
